On March 13, 2025, we, as the Department of International Trade and Finance and the Department of International Relations, held a Gender Equality Workshop at the Kucukcekmece Campus. 

In our workshop consisting of 6 tables, Çağla Uzun, a graduate of Kültür University Preschool Teaching, moderated the 'Participation of Women in Education' table, Irmak Çil Arslan from Yanındayız Association moderated the 'Dating Violence' in Turkish table, Selen Çakırhan, a graduate of Boğaziçi University Psychology, moderated the 'Dating Violence' in English table, Melek Gider, a member of TÜSES, moderated the 'Economic Violence' table, Elmas Arus, an IMM Council Member, moderated the 'Women's Poverty' table, and Zelal Yalçın, Advisor to the Şişli Mayor, moderated the 'Social Policies' table. Obstacles to girls' schooling, scholarship support for girls, barriers to women's participation in the workforce, women's employment in low-wage or insecure jobs, maternity leave, strong social policies that will contribute to women's empowerment, the need to address dating violence as a social issue, and psychosocial support were discussed at our tables. 

At the end of the workshop, certificates of participation were given to our students. We would like to thank our teachers, guests, and valuable students who contributed to our workshop.
