Our Head of International Relations Department, Prof. Dr. Çağla Gül Yesevi, attended the "Antalya Diplomacy Forum" (ADF2024) as a guest, held between 1-3 March 2024, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and with the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye. With the theme of “Putting Diplomacy Foreground in a Time of Crises”; the forum, where many issues such as peace, conflict resolution, irregular migration, xenophobia and climate change were discussed, brought together thousands of participants.

The program titled "The Crucial Decision for The Turkic Union: Zengezur Corridor" produced by The IKU Head of Department of International Relations Prof. Dr. Çağla Gül Yesevi, has been published on GZT Youtube channel in four different languages: English, French, Turkish and Russian.

PROF. DR. ÇAĞLA GÜL YESEVİ'S BOOK TITLED "MIGRATION FROM CENTRAL ASIA: STORIES AND IDENTITY FORMATION" HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

The IKU Head of Department of International Relations Prof. Dr. Çağla Gül Yesevi's book titled "Migration from Central Asia: Stories and Identity Formation" has been published. Prof. Dr. Yesevi’s book was published in 2024 by Routledge, A+ Publishing House (Taylor&Francis), as the product of IKU’s Scientific Research Project titled "The Effect of Migration from Turkestan on Identity Formation" coded "IKU-BAP 1802".

Assist. Prof. Hazal Papuççular, Won MAX WEBER STIFTUNG GERALD D. FELDMAN GRANT (2021-2022) SCHOLARSHIP

Assist. Prof. Hazalpapuççular, an academic at the Department of International Relations, was deemed eligible to win the Max Weber Stiftung Gerald D. Feldman Grant (2021-2022) scholarship with the topic “The Lausanne Conference: Diplomacy in a Transnational Setting”.

Assoc. Prof. Çağla Gül Yesevi Has Been APPOINTED as Co-DIRECTOR of the INTERNATIONAL Research Project

Assoc. Prof. Çağla Gül Yesevi, a faculty member of the Department of International Relations, was appointed as co-director with Assoc. Prof.  Özge Zihnioğlu in the international research project "SRG1920 \ 100787 coded Ultranationalist Mobilization and Pathways to Radicalization" supported by The British Academy.
